It really brings home, from what I know about Greek Mythology, how blasé they were about humanity and going about "helping" them. Yes, I’m really playing on that whole indifference thing in my stories, and yes - those magnanimous gestures without a thought of the human cost. I think maybe some of my anger about the distance and indifference of policy makers and the 1% is bleeding into my fiction!
